crafty envy #1

Illness of the week = chickenpox.
Sleep = not a lot.
Crafty endeavors = none.

Soooo….I thought I would throw a bit of eye candy your way and see what you reckon! (If you like it we could make it a regular-ish feature??…well as regular as things get around here!).

I’m not normally a wreath kind of girl but this one really did cheer me up! Go check out the whole tutorial. Via Dana Willard’s Pinterest board.

  1. Oh no – chicken pox! Hope your back crafting again soon! Thanks for sharing your colorful pinterest finds – it’s so addictive isn’t it!

  2. Chicken pox. Sigh. If we lived even remotely close to you I’d be on the next bus over with my lot. It is getting harder and harder to pick up this bug, what with the vaccine and all. And I’d rather they caught it young, but they’ll be vaccinated if they don’t get it in the next few years … I hope yours have an uncomplicated case of the pox.

    The baskets are fantastic. We are working on patterns in math, and I’m thinking I’m going to have to find a way to make little baskets and teach the girls how … they are so precious!

  3. Ha…I have been surprised at the amount of people who wanted to rub up against my little one!! Funnily enough he did actually have his vaccine (when we were in Australia)…he still managed to get it though!

    Yeah the baskets are beautiful. One day I shall attempt to make one too!

  4. Hi Emma….yep it is addictive! Such a great tool. I have been waiting for Pinterest for a long time I think!

  5. I hope things are swiftly on the mend. Nothing like a bit of house arrest to mess with your head! Lovely crafty shares – you will have your crafting mojo back in no time 🙂 x

  6. aw, thanks for the shout out. i’ll let you know if i manage to replicate this beauty. in the meantime, hope everyone in your house is on the mend. v. best, sugarpie project

  7. Hang in there… chicken pox is no fun, but hope it’s starting to get better! I came across your site several months ago and really love the projects you get into and the colourful things you post. Sadly, I seem to spend more time admiring other people’s craftiness online than creating my own, but the kids and I do have a good many projects in the pipeline – maybe one of these days I’ll get around to documenting them online like you!
