DIY Halloween Invitations

I love Halloween. It’s one of my favorite times of year for making stuff! I imagine a lot of people will be planning their parties at the moment so I thought it would be a good idea to design an easy DIY Halloween invitation.

I’ve made two versions of this skull card – a simple papercut version and an ordinary printed version (if you are short of time). As usual I’ve kept the style very minimal.

If you want to make some then check out the templates at the foot of the post.

What are you making this Halloween? I would love to know so please leave a comment with a link to the project!

+ Good quality A4 paper
+ Craft knife
+ Scissors
+ Ruler

1. Make your envelope.

2. Print out the invite (pdf’s at bottom of post). Set your printing preferences to ‘photo’ and ‘grayscale’. Cut around the outside of your invite.

3. Using a craft knife and ruler cut away the holes (unless you are making the standard printed version)

4. Make some confetti to pop in your envelope.

  1. looks splendid – simple and crafty 🙂 reminds me of some talented couple doing similar things in paper. I personally never had patience for these works but always wanting to make them 🙂
