Hello! The gem obsession continues and I have been working on some printable paper that you can download and use for wrapping gifts or scrapbooking etc.
I’ve also made a few of my paper-cut gems in black which I prefer (I think)….I want to make about a 40 or so and stick them on the wall (in reality this might have to go onto the future projects list)!!
My youngest son started school yesterday which was a very happy/sad occasion. He’s doing half days for a few weeks and then I will be spending all my time on the website (and a new book which I’m keen to tell you about).
Hope you are all well & happy ^_^
Wonderful! Thank you so much for sharing. (Note that I am a book cover designer if you need assistance with your book!)
Thanks Jackie ^_^
The black paper-cut gems are VERY striking. My middling saw your paper just now, and we’ve already downloaded it so that she can print it up and decoupage a new savings bank for herself. Thank you!
Bon courage
this is so cool! thank you! 🙂
Hi Mimouna,
Thanks for the kind comments.
My son was really happy to go to school (even though he is one of the youngest in the year) so that helped. I do wish I could press a pause button sometimes though.
The new book is very exciting, it will be one for grown-ups and I’m doing it with a different publisher. More news soon! ^_^
Bye for now
Kate
Yay…thanks WS. Glad your middling liked the paper ^_^
Hi Kate! I came across this image, http://www.flickr.com/photos/tootiki/4053088927/in/photostream/ << it's so funny how your printable paper resembles that image!
Thanks for the freebie, I really like it and would love to wrap gifts with it! Or might use it as a colouring page (for kids)! x
Thanks Leyla ^_^

These are just gorgeous! I do a lot of scrapbooking so I will have to find something fun to use the background for. Thanks for sharing!
I am saving it. I don’t know what I will use it for or when. 🙂 Thank you for sharing.
Hi Beth,
I had looked at Spoonflower and had gone as far as to upload designs…but I ran into technical problems!! It’s definitely on my to-do list. Would love to sell my own fabric. Need more hours in the day!
Many thanks
Kate ^_^

Hi Sarah,
Sorry for the late reply. Thanks so much for sending me the link to your gifts. The neon stickers look awesome (stealing that idea ^_^)
Genial!
Hey! Very late comment and I have a question how you do these paper gems black? I can’t figure out how i print the pattern on black paper?
I hope you understand what I mean!
I printed onto black paper and was still able to see the lines. Alternately you could cut out the gems in white and use that as a stencil. Kate ^_^
hi! how do you print such pattern repeatedly? do you copy-paste them into ms word? or do you use photoshop?
Hi Regina, I use Adobe Illustrator for anything graphics based. Kate ^_^
This is such a great idea! Ran into problems while downloading. *sigh* But still. Awesome. Thanks for Sharing!
Wow…How stupid of me…I wanted this paper so bad that I was checking it out again, when I realized I was actually clicking on an ad that said DOWNLOAD instead of your printable! I’m so happy now!
Thank you very much for this 🙂 I have stumbled upon it right on time – before the White Elephant gift exchange party tonight. I made an envelope of two A4 printed sheets that will house the gift (a set of Parker pens – fits perfectly!). Looks very stylish indeed!
All the very best to you and a happy Christmas season!
Love this template! This is just what I need for a party I am throwing in February. The diamond pattern will add the perfect touch to the backdrop. I will be linking to this post when I blog about my party. I know how important it is to give credit.
And now that I found your site, I want others to come visit you too 🙂
Thank you very much for sharing! They are so nice.
I have made them myself and shared your link on my blog, hope that’s okay. 😀
