gems & crystals // printable paper

Hello! The gem obsession continues and I have been working on some printable paper that you can download and use for wrapping gifts or scrapbooking etc.

I’ve also made a few of my paper-cut gems in black which I prefer (I think)….I want to make about a 40 or so and stick them on the wall (in reality this might have to go onto the future projects list)!!

My youngest son started school yesterday which was a very happy/sad occasion. He’s doing half days for a few weeks and then I will be spending all my time on the website (and a new book which I’m keen to tell you about).

Hope you are all well & happy ^_^

      Thanks Jackie ^_^

  2. The black paper-cut gems are VERY striking. My middling saw your paper just now, and we’ve already downloaded it so that she can print it up and decoupage a new savings bank for herself. Thank you!

Yay…thanks WS. Glad your middling liked the paper ^_^

    Bon courage

      Hi Mimouna,

      Thanks for the kind comments.

My son was really happy to go to school (even though he is one of the youngest in the year) so that helped. I do wish I could press a pause button sometimes though.

The new book is very exciting, it will be one for grown-ups and I’m doing it with a different publisher. More news soon! ^_^

      Bye for now
      Kate

Hi Kate! I came across this image, http://www.flickr.com/photos/tootiki/4053088927/in/photostream/ << it's so funny how your printable paper resembles that image!

Thanks for the freebie, I really like it and would love to wrap gifts with it! Or might use it as a colouring page (for kids)! x

I’m sure you already know about this website, but in case you don’t:

    http://www.spoonflower.com/welcome

You can print your own designs on all different types of fabric (as little as 1/4yd), wallpaper, and decals. You can also sell your designs. I am in no way connected to this site except that I love looking at and sometimes buying other artists designs. Thought it might be of use to you. :)

      Hi Beth,

I had looked at Spoonflower and had gone as far as to upload designs…but I ran into technical problems!! It’s definitely on my to-do list. Would love to sell my own fabric. Need more hours in the day!

      Many thanks
      Kate ^_^
