paper decorations {winter edition}

Here are some Christmas decorations inspired by the good old British weather! We’re putting the tree up this weekend so more decorations to come over the next week. When do you normally put yours up? (When I was little it was usually a Christmas eve job but nowadays my neighbourhood seems to go for December 1st!).

(BTW: Don’t forget to put your loop of thread in before sticking the models together – I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve done that!)

  1. Sublime!
    Vous avez raison de le rappeler, je suis du genre à tout coller et se rappeler du fil a passer à le fin .
    Merci et pleins de bonnes choses a vous!

  2. that’s just beautiful ! I’m going to make some of these with my 9 -10 years-old pupils !
    hello from France

  3. Yay…they look great. Very brave to make them in leather. It would never have crossed my mind. No problem on the Swedish. I love google translate!!

  4. They are soooo cute! I have folded all of them 🙂
    But why have you changed the pattern on the icosahedron in the template? I like the one in your pictures much better.
    Is there a chance you can change it?
    Thank You!

    Cheers from Hungary 🙂

  8. Hi Deborah…sorry for the late reply….I’m playing catch up.

    SO happy to hear you bought the book. Knee deep in the second one at the moment which is going to be for grown-ups. Can’t wait to share it with you all. Hope you enjoyed the snow. Ours all gone now (enjoyed it for the first day or so but kinda glad it’s gone now!) ^_^

  9. Would you happen to have a template which only has one isocahedron on it. Because this is my math project and the isocahedron has to be as large as possible. At least 6inches in diameter. So if you do have a template with only one isocahedron on a single peice of paper please post it or email me. I need it before Monday. Please please please help me out I love the snowflakes on the isocahedron that is why I’m not using the templates from other sites.
